Cuban fried rice

A typical Cuban dish that is usually sold in the little windows for Cuban pesos. They are sold in cardboard boxes and Cubans usually eat it on the street using a piece of the box as a spoon, some use their identity cards.

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 1 can of Chinese beans
  • Half chicken breast
  • 125 grams of ham
  • 250 grams of shrimp
  • Frozen mix (corn, carrot and peas)
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 chives
  • Half a cup of soy
  • Vegetable oil

Preparation

  1. Prepare the rice in the pot and add the frozen vegetables
  2. Beat the eggs in a bowl and make it in a pan
  3. Chop the chicken into small pieces and pour the soy sauce over a pan until it is golden brown
  4. Clean the shrimp, bathe them in soy sauce and pass them through the pan
  5. In a large pan, add oil and put the rice with vegetables, chicken, ham, shrimp and egg. Stir
  6. Put the soy sauce little by little until it turns brown
  7. When the rice is fried, the beans are thrown
  8. Chives are chopped into small pieces and added once the fire is out
